Our ward Easter Egg Hunt

Here are the few pictures I took today during our church's primary egg hunt. Kody had a blast. And Peter got tons and tons of candy....even though he claims he doesn't eat sugar!?

"Easter Fairy Princess Elf" in training, she was "hiding" the eggs around the house.

For those of you that are not familiar with that little piece of paper, Monty and his BFF Everrett are pointing to let me enlighten you. It's a stop work order. Neither of them realized that they had to have a building permit to build a shed in our backyard. Our evil neighbor, Mildred, called it in. The city inspector came by and shut the work down. Don't worry, they'll have their revenge soon enough!! (insert evil laughing.) The boys did go and apply for the permit and should have it in a couple days.

Peter-Leo's room...beginnings

Ok, you've seen Kody's new room decor...now here are some pictures of the two giant wall painting/mural I've done. Again, it still needs some extra touches, but generally I am really super happy with it. Monty is going to frame out both of them so it will look finished. And I am going to add some small details (like USA on the space shuttle, names on the space suits etc) And hey I am not Ramie! (those that don't know she is my super talented BFF!)

This is the wall painting that is the same size as the window on the wall to the left of it. There will be signs over them that read "EARTH" and "Outer Space" or something cute and clever..

kody has got to help...somehow..

Being a mother and ECE student, I've come to know that 2 year olds must help you...most of the time it means hinder. If you are smart, you'll figure out a way for them to "help" you. Today, I was screwing together Peter's new shelf and "invention" cart. Of course, Kody has to be involved.... She did very well...and I think Mrs. H & Mrs. L would be proud!

Here are a couple pictures of Kody's room, so far. There are a few finishing touches that need to be done, but I gotta get going on Peter's room. It will be the most time consuming but worth it!!

So, this is not Kody's room, it's Peter's. And that is what is left of a bookcase. It went ka-splat! Tomorrow I will go and buy another one. Ooops! He needed a new one anyways!

I passed PreAlgebra 98!!

Ok, many of you know of my hatred of algebra. I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! The only thing I hate more are graphs! If I have to graph one more stinkin' equation I was going to vomit! And I still did not understand it or get any of them right! AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!
Alas, my factoring and foiling abilities were enough to earn a nice B. Yes, that is right, B, B as in Boy, ball, balloon, baboon, bounce and bobblehead!
Yippeee!! only two more stinking math classes to go!! I wonder if I have to take math at GSU? Better go check!

nothing!

absolutely nothing is happening..and that's a big problem for me...no school, no homework, no projects due! NOTHING!!! I DON'T KNOW IF I CAN TAKE IT MUCH LONGER...MIGHT EXPLODE FROM NOTHING TO DO!!

oh, wait...I found something...redecorating the kids' rooms. Should be fun. I have decided to flip flop the kids. Giving Peter the larger room and turing his room into the inside of a space station...and Kody...well she is getting jipped....lilac colored walls and new bedding. But back to Peter's room. I am going to paint the walls a blueish-grey color, and paint glow in the dark stars, comets and blackholes on his ceiling and paint large round windows looking out onto different planets in space. New bedding. And a cool flooring options...you know that plastic cushiony stuff for garages floors...it comes in interconnecting squares.... Anywho. should be awesome....

now the nothing-ness is gone...peace and calm are back again.....sort of..
